Great news! Billy Ray Irick’s execution date has been postponed from Jan. 15 to Oct. 7, 2014, due to a legal challenge to the new lethal injection protocol. This means that, while 10 people on death row are still slated for execution, we have more time to build momentum for a more comprehensive challenge to capital punishment in Tennessee.
